Welcome to St Peters Bay

Walking BridgeLocated in Eastern Prince Edward Island on the Points East Coastal Drive, the village of St Peters Bay and surrounding area offer lots to see and do on your PEI vacation. With distances so small, it is easy to use our home as a base for exploring the whole Island, but there is plenty to see and do in the immediate area.

The Turret BellBeachesInterested in outdoor activity?  St Peters Bay sits on the edge of Greenwich National Park, offering hiking, swimming, bird watching, and the rare natural beauty of the parabolic dune system.  Visit their Interpretive Centre, have a picnic in the Park, or explore the trails. Enjoy hiking or cycling on the Confederation Trail.  If you didn’t bring your bike, there are several places nearby which rent bicycles. Play a round of golf at one of the seven courses within 30 minutes, including the famous Crowbush and Dundarave courses. Rent a kayak and paddle down the Morell River.  Go deep-sea fishing or relax on the mile after mile of uncrowded and isolated beaches in the area.

Heritage RoadInterested in Island culture?  Catch live theatre or music right next door at the St Peters Courthouse Theatre. Visit a ceilidh for some down home tunes. Find out about the mussels that line St Peters Bay at the Mussel Interpretive Centre.  Stock up on Island crafts and books from the stores at St Peters Landing.  Drive one of the tree-covered heritage roads for a glimpse of the Island from years past.

How about PEI cuisine?  Cross Keys Bar and Grill in Morell offers family dining in a unique, politically-themed restaurant.  The Inn at St Peters is renowned for its fine dining.  Bayside Inn’s family restaurant is within walking distance.  And don’t forget the very popular Rick’s Fish and Chips.

Charlottetown is only 35 minutes away, and offers more theatre options, shopping, and activities.  Morell, only 7 minutes away, offers a grocery store, bank, pharmacy, gym, massage therapist, bakery and dining.
